Global notion of STEM education aligns with the objectives of Atal Tinkering Labs which is a vital part of India&#8217;s efforts to promote STEM. The notion of STEM education as a whole is based on the knowledge that these subjects are crucial for technological development, innovation, and economic progress. Initiatives like Atal Tinkering Labs in India help advance the larger global effort to promote STEM (<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/dianawehrellgrabowski.com\/2021\/08\/23\/tinkering-as-a-pedagogy-for-stem-learning\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Grabowski Wehrell Diana 2021<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">). education by allowing pupils to engage in hands-on learning and explore their interests. This paper explains the ATL initiative in the progress of Indian students to develop their ingenuity, creativity, and problem-solving abilities through technology. The study also considers the value of STEM education in a fast-changing international environment and focuses on the ATL model counterparts\u2019 global initiatives to advance STEM education. In order to support the STEM education system by encouraging curiosity, creativity, and imagination, NITI Aayog has built a network of \u201cAtal Tinkering Labs\u201d (ATL) as part of the Atal Innovation Mission. I visited various schools equipped with the facility of Atal Tinkering Labs and had a positive interaction with teachers and students and gain knowledge about ATL. He is the founding dean of the School of Education at Galgotias University. Before joining Galgotias University he served at Ram-Eesh Institute of Education, Greater Noida for 14 years in various capacities and left the institute as the principal. He also taught in schools for more than two years. He has more than twenty-four years of teaching experience in teacher and school education. In teacher education, he has been teaching M.Ed. and B.Ed. students and supervising Ph.D. scholars and M.Ed. students for their research work. For the last fourteen years, he has also been looking after the administration work of the institute and university as the head of the department. He completed his higher education and doctoral work at Bundelkhand University, Jhansi. He remained on the panel of the subject experts of the D.El.Ed. program run by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), Noida in the years 2018 and 2019. During this tenure, he delivered twenty-one lectures on Live Telecasts on the \u2018Vagda\u2019 Channel and took four Radio counselling sessions on the \u2018Mukt Vidya Vani\u2019 radio channel of the NIOS for the D.El.Ed. students. He has served as a VT member in NCTE for the inspection of the teacher education institutions. Presently he is on the panel of the editorial board of the EDULINK- Journal of Education. He also remained on the panel of research paper reviewers of the journals being published by the Ram-Eesh Institute of Education and Army Institute of Education, Greater Noida. He has been working for the NAAC accreditation and also guiding others for the same. He is on the external examiner panel of various universities. He has also been invited to take viva-voce of the Ph.D. scholars and to evaluate Ph.D. theses, M.Phil. and M.Ed. dissertations by the universities. Presently in his credit, he has forty-two publications as research papers, proceedings and book chapters. Two papers he has presented at international conferences in virtual mode. He has also presented papers in NCERT, Delhi and NCERT-RIE Bhopal organized seminars in virtual mode. He has presented more than forty-five papers in various national seminars. He has also been invited to the FDPs to deliver his lectures offline and online. He is also invited to conduct a AAA audit of the institute. He has also chaired the technical sessions in the seminars. He has been invited by the schools and institutions as their programs\u2019 chief guest. He is a life member of AIAER, IATE, and CTEF. He remained a member of the \u2018School\u2019s Management Committee\u2019 of a school in Greater Noida during 2021-22. He has also remained a member of the Board of Studies of Sharda University. \u2018Rotary Club of Sahibabad\u2019 awarded him the \u2018Gratitude\u2019 certificate in November 2021 for his contribution during the Corona period in the field of education. Dr. Gupta was invited as a subject expert by SCERT, Delhi for a 04-day workshop to categorize completed research conducted at SCERT and DIETs of Delhi state in February 2022 and to assist one of the researchers of SCERT to complete her project in June 2021 and March 2022.
