Digital Technology is crucial part of everyone\u2019s life. This research is based on the digital literacy role to promote the gender equality in every field. According to <\/span>UNICEF, 2017,<\/span><\/a> Digital literacy is becoming more and more recognized as a necessary skill for employability and has been associated with increased earning potential and new business opportunities. This research found that various obstacles faced by female during the usages of digital technology. There are various measures introduced to overcome this problem. Education policy should place a strong emphasis on digital literacy for both boys and girls. To reach girls at a young age and provide them the opportunity to develop their talents over time, digital skill training should be incorporated into formal school curriculum starting in the basic grades.<\/span><\/p>

This study<\/span> \u00a0is based on the digital literacy role to promote the gender equality in every field. This article deals with gender phenomena in the context of digital literacy. The main objectives of this research are to find out the problems and challenges face by women while using the digital technology, how to overcome this problems with the help of digital literacy.<\/span><\/p>

This research found that various obstacles faced by female during the usages of digital technology. There are various measures introduced to overcome this problem. Dr. Manpreet Kaur,<\/b> Assistant Professor, School of Business Management and Commerce, Desh Bhagat University, Mandi Gobindgarh, Punjab. Her Academic Qualifications include Bachelor of Commerce, Master in Business Administration and PhD in Finance from Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, Punjab. Dr. Jyoti Sharma,<\/b> Associate professor\u00a0 ,Head of the Languages\u00a0 Department is an active Alumni of Guru Nanak\u00a0 Dev University, Amritsar has completed\u00a0 PhD in Generic Study of\u00a0 Pritam Singh Safeer\u00a0 in 2012. Being\u00a0 UGC (NET) qualified, I have total 14 years teaching experience\u00a0 and during this tenure,\u00a0 I have published 8 Books\u00a0 from which two books are accepted in\u00a0 Central Institute Of Indian Language, Manasagangotri, Mysore. Furthermore, I have written book chapters and published and presented research papers in various journals and conferences.
