ICERT on this National Youth Day in India organized one day International Seminar in
the series of Competency Building Program to empower the higher education student
and educator community.
Three sessions were conducted by the experts on following topics

21st-century skills in school & higher education”
Session 2: “NEP and Youth Empowerment: Key recommendations for sports, skills
and pedagogy”

ICERT Social Welfare Division in collaboration with Professional Development Division of ICERT, organized this free program for youth, women, and public in general including educators, researchers and professionals from different spheres. This program was an initiative in the direction of the UN agenda “Transforming our world: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development”. World Day of Social Justice is observed on 20 February to promote gender equality, indigenous peoples, and migrants’ rights. This day also focuses on achieving the goal of full employment and social integration. The theme of World Day of Social Justice 2022, was “Achieving Social Justice through Formal Employment”. The focus was also on the formalization of employment as a prerequisite for reducing poverty and inequality
Three sessions were conducted by the experts on following topics
Session 1: Prof. Dr. Kosga Yagapparaj, Professor at Putra International College,
Malaysia/Trine University, USA, delivered a lecture/ presentation on “Global Trends
in Education in the Endemic Era”
Session 2: Dr. Manisha Digambarrao Asore, Head and Associate Professor,
Department of Education, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Sub
Campus Osmanabad delivered a lecture/ presentation on “New Directions in
Interdisciplinary Education”
Session 3: Dr. A. Abraham, MD, Master Practitioner in NLP, Life coach, Mentor at
Mind Masters, Trivandrum, Kerala delivered a lecture/ presentation by honourable

This program was a part of the UN initiative on Transforming Youth Skills for the Future, on the occasion of UN World Youth Skills Day celebrated on July 15 every year, as per the theme of World Skills Day 2022. On this occasion, ICERT invited academicians, professionals from different disciplines, school educators, UG/PG Students, Research Scholars, and faculty from industries to join this program. On this occasion ICERT felicitated educators, social workers, clinicians/ researchers, and other professionals from different disciplines who have positively contributed towards youth empowerment and are continuously enriching education/ research fraternity & society with an International Honor “Global Youth ICON Award-2022”.
