The International Council for Education, Research and Training (ICERT) is a globally oriented, organization committed to advancing educational, scientific and charitable goals through impactful programs, partnerships, and innovations.

ICERT motto, “Knowledge, Wisdom and Prosperity,” reflects the Core Committee belief that inclusive and equitable access to education, research, and professional development is key to sustainable and transformative social progress.

ICERT works at the intersection of education, research, technology, community development, and policy. ICERT programs span curriculum development, teacher training, research publishing, global advocacy, and social innovation. ICERT partner with academic institutions, civil society organizations, government bodies, and international agencies.

ICERT Structure and Governance

ICERT operates under a dual structure comprising a Board of Directors and an executive Core Committee (Secretariat). This ensures both strong strategic governance and effective operational management.

Board of Directors

The Board is the primary governing body responsible for strategic direction, legal compliance, and oversight. Members include individuals with distinguished backgrounds in education, research, health, policy, industry and international development. Each Director may be assigned oversight of one or more Divisions.

Core Committee (Secretariat)

Led by the President, Secretary, and Director of Finance (CFO), the Core Committee includes Executive Directors of each Division. This team manages day-to-day activities, implements board-approved strategies, and ensures efficient program coordination across divisions.

Divisions of ICERT

ICERT is organized into specialized Divisions, each representing a core function of the organization:

  1. Education & Learning Advancement Division (ICERT–Sophia) → Curriculum development, literacy, pedagogy, and academic initiatives.

  2. Research, Innovation & Publications Division (ICERT–Sapientia) → Academic publishing, applied research, peer-reviewed journals, and innovation hubs.

  3. Capacity Building & Professional Development Division (ICERT–Paideia) → Training, certification, and professional growth for educators and institutions.

  4. Communications & External Affairs Division (ICERT–Sambhāṣa) → Media engagement, advocacy communication, transparency, and public outreach.

  5. Social Impact and Community Services Division (ICERT–Humanitas) → Inclusive programs focused on equity, relief, and local development.

  6. Health Promotion & Wellbeing Division (ICERT–Ārogya) → Mental health, sanitation, wellness, and public health education.

  7. Membership and Global Collaboration Division (ICERT–Sambandha) → Community building through volunteerism, institutional partnerships, and member outreach.

  8. Financial, Legal, and Compliance Division (ICERT–Lex) → Governance, legal oversight, compliance with IRS and state laws, and fiscal integrity.

  9. Technology & Digital Innovation Division (ICERT–Tantra) → EdTech, AI tools, digital literacy, and virtual platforms.

  10. Environmental and Sustainability Division (ICERT–Florens) → Climate education, green development, and eco-awareness campaigns.

  11. Equity, Inclusion & Ethics Division (ICERT–Ethos) → DEI policy implementation, ethical standards, and gender equity.

  12. Policy, Advocacy, and Governance Division (ICERT–Eunomia) → Thought leadership, white papers, and collaboration with public institutions and UN bodies
